Week 11

StumbleUpon was very similar to Pinterest and Scoop.it but shows you more of the page at one time.

My favorite thing was Pinterest!

The most useful thing was learning about copyrights!

I was surprised to discover that we could return ebooks early!

I will probably use Pinterest the most in my personal life.  My daughter has an upcoming wedding and we will be doing a lot of searching.

I felt very relieved after completing the 23NB program.  Very Stressful!

It is very necessary to keep up with new technology and one must at least try.  I found with a little guidance that it was not that difficult to learn.

Week 9

This session helped me to better understand how to download and return ebooks from the library website as well as to browse the BiblioNB app.

It will help with patron inquiries.

Week 8

This week we learned how to use Scoop.it which is a little more useful than pinterest because it gives a short description of the article before you click on it.

Week 7 Multimedia

This is a great song and I have always loved Cher.

I watched a video called "Lisa Bu - How books can open your mind"

The video showed me how Lisa Bu was inspired by comparative reading to build a carreer helping people find great stories to listen to.

Week 5: Pinterest

Pinterest can help you get new ideas for library programs.
Also help with promotion.

Week 3:  Social Reading
Just finished this phase of 23Things and it was easy and informative.
I selected 5 of my favorite books and added a comment to each.

2nd Blog

I have just set up my twitter account and completed my first tweet. 

My first day of blogging, was wonderful.
